After average weeks in the first two weeks of the regular season, I had a bounce back week three, posting an 11-5 record. Had my Steelers been able to hold off the Bengals, I would have done even better.

In addition to improving on my win total, for the second straight week, I picked correctly with my upset special.
Week Two-The New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys in the inaugural game at the new Texas Stadium.
Week Three-The Detroit Lions ended their 19-game losing streak by defeating the Washington Redskins.
