Seriously, if the Vikings had any shot of grabbing Cutler it would have been worth the price, especially given the fact that it would have kept him away from a division rival.
On a related note, I sure know that I am going to be watching with great interest to see who wins the Quarterback battle between Chris Sims and Kyle Orton for starting QB in Denver. I am sure San Diego fans are starting to panic.
I fully agree that Jay Cutler had to go.
You cant have your QB throwing a hissy fit in Training camp but if I am Denver fan I have to be asking the question how my team started this offseason with a Pro-Bowl QB, failed to retain Matt Cassel, failed to retain Jay Cutler and will now begin the season with Kyle Orton as their QB.
Perhaps that Thud...Thud...Thud you heard wasn't Adrian Peterson at all.
