He currently will serve a sentence in jail 'til Sunday instead of going to a six-week drug treatment program. All this after Jones was suspended by the league last year after facing cocaine charges.
Jacksonville has to be disappointed with Matt Jones. He had shown promise as a wide receiver last year before facing his three-game suspension. Now he will probably be facing more suspension as he is yet again violating the NFL's code of conduct.
The disappointment is that Matt Jones could of became a big influence and role model for kids and adults who are trying to over come drug addiction. He could of became this years Josh Hamilton of football, and shown people that there is life after drugs.
