Get ready Minnesota: Brett Favre-mania is about to begin in earnest!
According to the latest, the flip-flopping quarterback is meeting with Dr. James Andrews to discuss surgery on his bum arm/shoulder. This, presumably, is in an effort to return to the football field for the Vikings this season.
Think about it. Favre is a guy who avoided surgery at all costs during the course of his career. If he did not intend to play football again, there is no doubt in my mind that he would never have surgery to fix that arm because he hates going under the knife.
So the very fact that he intends to do just that means, to me at least, that he will return to play football this season.
