Who Is The Best Back Out Of The 2008 Class? (The Answer Might Surprise You)

... That's right folks, Steve Slaton is the best back out of the 2008 draft class.

Ok now that I have shocked you or pissed you off let me justify my argument. 

First I will go over what makes him so dangerous.

He is a "scat back" type or so we thought. As we found out early in the season this is far from the truth.

Slaton showed that he can run up the middle and is willing to without trying to kick it outside (yes, that was a shot at Chris Johnson).

Enough tape on him, let's go to the numbers.

Slaton led all rookies in rushing yards with 1,282 yards. This was enough to rank him sixth in the league in rushing yards, which is pretty impressive for a rookie. He also added nine rushing touchdowns.

Now lets get into deeper stats to really show how good he was. He averaged a modest 4.8 yards a carry and an impressive 22.4 first down percentage.
