I don't agree with the Chiefs switching to a 3-4 in the first place, Dorsey doesn't fit perfectly anywhere. But, you have to put him at DE. There's nowhere else to play him.
He's too small and doesn't have enough strength (290lb pass rushing DT's don't have the brute strength needed to play a position normally played by 330-pound boulders like Casey Hampton, Kris Jenkins, and Vince Wilfork) to place him at Nose Tackle.
He has the size to play end, that's the only place for him to go on the Defense.
If you're KC, where are you putting Dorsey?
I'm a huge advocate of adjusting schemes to fit your players, but that's not what is going on. Now with the 3-4, two first rounders, Tamba Hali and Glenn Dorsey will have to make a tough transition.
The change will probably be worse on Hali because he's played DE for two or three ...
