NFL Football Players Draft Injuries Rookies Season SuperbowlPublished: May 7, 2009
Community leaders and top writers talk about how strong their Bleacher Report community is all of the time. Philadelphia Eagles fans seem to be very vocal about it, Oakland Raiders fans will talk about how passionate theirs is, Sayre Bedinger wrote an article dedicated to the Denver Broncos’ strong community a little while back.
Who really is number one though? Has anyone tried to figure out?
There certainly is no perfect way to do this, some writers are burned out right now or are writing about a sport in its regular season, others that are on top writers lists may not stay, and not to mention the rankings constantly change. Not to mention that there are teams with pretty hardcore fan bases that do not have a lot of writers due to recently woeful years. (Buffalo Bills come to mind.)
I’m going to try and take a stab at it though. The rankings I viewed to rank each community are as of Wednesday, May 6th, 2009. And it says something about the passion of some writers; writers that will keep writing about football regardless of if it’s pre-season, regular season, play-offs, post-draft or whatever time of year it may be.
For anyone that wishes to look at the top 50 NFL writers or at the top 10 for each division, I wrote those on at the end of the list. Both of these factors played big parts in constructing the list.
