Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 17 NFL Picks

The Green Bay Packers travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in what should be one of the most exciting game Sunday January 3. The Oddsmakers have the Cardinals favored by three points at home and the posted total for this game is 44 points.

This is actually one of the only games on the board for Week 17 that the lines have not moved all week since the books have steady betting action coming in on both sides. You can bet the Packers vs. Cardinals game online at BetUs.com and enjoy a special 100 percent deposit bonus up to $500 so if you deposit $500 you will get $1,000 in your account.

The Packers have really started to play great football in the second half of the season having won six of their last seven games. The Cardinals come into Sunday’s NFL game having won two straight games but against some pretty bad teams (Detroit and St. Louis).

The Packers have thrived offensively averaging 35 points per game over their last three games and they have also averaged 29.9 ppg on the road this season. If you are looking for Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 17 NFL Picks I would definitely take this game to go over the posted total of 44 points.

The Cardinals defense will have to bring their best game into this showdown with the Packers Sunday or it could get out of hand. The Cardinals have played great defensively over their last three games but that was against bad teams so I look for them to struggle today.

The Packers are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games as a road underdog of three points or less. The Cardinals are a perfect 3-0 SU in their last three games played in the month of January.

New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers Week 17 NFL Picks

Published: January 3, 2010

The almost undefeated Saints travel to Carolina to take on the surging Panthers Sunday January 3 with out Drew Brees and Darren Sharper in the line-up.  The Saints Coach Sean Payton said he will start veteran Mark Brunnel to give their star quarterback Brees much needed rest.

Drew Brees will set a new NFL passing record with a completion percentage of 70.60 percent which was set back in 1982 by Ken Anderson of the Bengals. You can bet the Saints vs. Panthers game online at BetUs.com and enjoy a 100 percent deposit bonus up to $500 so if you deposit $500 you will get $1,000 in your account.

The oddsmakers currently have the Carolina Panthers favored by just seven points after the line opened to favor them by 9 points earlier in the week. The posted total for this game is at 41 points after it opened at 42.5 points last Monday.

Since Drew Brees will not be in this game a lot of people are taking the Panthers to win by seven points Sunday. If you are looking for New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers Week 17 NFL Picks I would also take the Panthers to cover the seven points at home.

The Panthers are coming off of back to back dominating wins against the Vikings and Giants. During their two game winning streak the Panthers outscored their opponents 67 to 16 winning by an average of 25.5 points per game.

For the Carolina Panthers this is their Super Bowl game and they will end the season on a high note by dominating a Saints team that is resting their key players. The Panthers have covered the spread in six straight games against a team that has a winning record. Look for the Saints to get their second loss of the season Sunday.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Miami Dolphins Week 17 NFL Picks

Sportsbook Odds: Steelers -3

The Pittsburgh Steelers may be the reigning Super Bowl Champions but they may not even get a chance to defend their crown unless they catch a number of breaks this Sunday Jan. 3.

Should the playoffs start today, the Steelers would be on the outside looking in but that doesn’t mean that they can’t qualify. The Steelers are on the outskirts right now but first off, they need to defeat the Miami Dolphins to get started.

Topping the Dolphins, who have been feisty but have slipped up in the last few weeks, is likely but they will not some other teams in front of them to lose. The Steelers need either the New York Jets or the Baltimore Ravens—the two teams holding the last two AFC Wild Card spots to lose and they’ll need other help. On top of that, the Steelers will need the Houston Texans to lose as well to qualify for a spot.

For Miami, they are also in the hunt but their situation is far direr. The Dolphins need to win and have to have the Jets, Ravens, Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars lose for them to make it. The Steelers have been up and down all year but this is a spot where they can win. Now they just need some help.

NFL Odds: Cowboys vs. Saints Picks

The Saturday Night NFL Game offers sports bettors lot’s of value if they are want to wager on the Cowboys +9 points or the Saints -7 points. This means that there is a middle in the Cowboys vs. Saints game because you could wager on both sides and if the game ends with the Saints winning by 8 points you then win both bets. The odds of this happening are very slim but stranger things have happened this NFL season so if you are looking for free Cowboys vs. Saints picks you know what to do.

If you are looking to place a wager on the Dallas Cowboys at +9 point they are 9-1 against the spread in their last 10 games after they have allowed more than 250 yards in their previous game. The Underdog is a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games between the Cowboys vs. Saints so this is an interesting betting trend. If you think this will be a high scoring game then you would want to bet the game to go Over 53 points. An interesting betting trend for this game total is that 11 of the Cowboys last 16 games have gone Over the posted total when the Cowboys are an Underdog of +3.5 to +10 points.

If you are looking to bet the New Orleans Saints (-7)  you might have to buy this line down a half a point at most sports books. Some betting trends that benefit the Saints are that they are 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 games played against the Cowboys. The Saints are also 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games as a favorite of -3.5 to -10 points. So as you can see there are several things to consider when betting the NFL Odds in this Cowboys vs. Saints Saturday night football game.

Check out our Experts Cowboys Vs Saints Picks and see if you are on the winning side tonight.

Ravens vs. Packers Monday Night Football Picks

Published: December 7, 2009

commentNo Comments

This week’s Monday Night Football game might not be as highly anticipated as last week’s, but it will still be a good game to watch.

This week the game features two pretty tough teams fighting for their playoff lives. A win would mean a lot for both teams. As far as Free NFL Picks go, the Ravens are coming off of a hard-fought win against the Super Bowl champion Steelers, so they have momentum.

The Packers are coming off of a blowout of the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving day. They currently sit at 7-4 while the Ravens are at 6-5. Both teams have solid records but are not leading their respective divisions. So what should we expect in this game?

Here are a few things to watch for:

The Green Bay Packers are stacked on offense with the exception of the offensive line. They have a stud quarterback in Aaron Rodgers who has played great all season. If you have him on your fantasy football team, you know what I’m talking about. At running back they have a talented runner in Ryan Grant. At receiver they have several talented guys led by Greg Jennings and Donald Driver. If they can give Aaron Rodgers enough time, he can sit there and pick you apart.

The Ravens are starting to gel a little bit as a team. They are very talented all the way around. They still have one of the toughest defenses in the league and they can change a game at any point. They have a young franchise quarterback in Joe Flacco and a very talented running back in Ray Rice. Their receivers are talented, but could be the weakest link on offense.

This game should be very close and will most likely go down to the final few minutes. Both teams will fight hard because they know that a loss could knock them out of playoff contention.

Expert NFL Picks: Week 13 NFL Predictions

Published: December 4, 2009

commentNo Comments

Week 13 of the NFL season is upon us and it seems like just yesterday it was Week 1. Everyone had high hopes for their teams and everyone was a Super Bowl contender. Then reality set in and many of the teams were knocked out of playoff contention. Now it is getting deep into the race for the playoffs and the picture is starting to get clearer. Here are a few things to expect in each game as far as Free Week 13 NFL Picks go.

New York Jets vs. Buffalo (New York -3). The Mark Sanchez era has taken a few lumps lately, but the kid still has some game. Although the Bills run defense is awful, their pass defense actually is not bad. Expect the Jets to stay away from the pass and focus on Thomas Jones and the ground game. The outcome of the game will be determined by whether or not they can slow Thomas Jones down or if he runs wild.

Denver vs. Kansas City (Denver -4.5). This game is the first time that Matt Cassel and his former coach Josh McDaniels have played against each other. This offseason the two of them led to Jay Cutler being traded and the rest is history. The Chiefs had been playing much better until their blowout loss to the Chargers last weekend. They had only given up 23 points all year off of turnovers and they gave up 28 in that single game. When you do that, there is no chance of winning. This week, expect them to get the ball control back in order and take the Broncos down to the wire.

Oakland vs. Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh -14.5). The Steelers have had a rough few weeks. They lost to the Kansas City Chiefs and then to the Ravens, both in overtime. Nothing will cure rough times like a game against the Oakland Raiders. Expect the Steelers to take control of this one early and take out their frustration from the last two weeks.

Houston vs. Jacksonville (no line). As Vegas says, this will be about as even of a game as you can get. The Texans are turning into underachievers which will put them in the same class as the Jags. The Texans seem to have all of the pieces in place to have a solid team, but they can’t seem to put it together. The Jags are an anomaly. Some weeks they are great and other weeks they are getting blown out by the Seahawks. These are two teams that both go from one extreme to the other. Expect a very close game in this one.

Tennessee vs. Indianapolis (Indy -6). The Colts are still in pursuit of a perfect season after a very close call against the Texans last week. This one has all the makings of another tightly contested game. Vince Young is back in a big way and he has, led the Titans to five straight wins. After a last-second 99-yard drive to beat the Cardinals, he is starting to find some believers again.

Philadelphia vs. Atlanta (Philadelphia -5.5). The Philadelphia Eagles are starting to get things together as a team. However, they might be without their star receiver Desean Jackson this week as he suffered a concussion last game. He is usually good for at least one long touchdown per game and his loss will hurt. The Falcons came dangerously close to losing to the Bucs last weekend but somehow pulled it out. This week, the competition gets a little tougher.

Detroit vs. Cincinnati (Cincinnati -13). The Bengals are hoping to have Cedric Benson back this week as he has been out the last few weeks with an injury. New backup Larry Johnson managed to put up 100 yards in relief last week, but they would like to get Benson back and going before the playoff push. This week they should not have much of a challenge regardless of who is running the ball. Expect the Lions to score a couple touchdowns through the air and it still won’t be enough to win.

New Orleans vs. Washington (New Orleans -9.5). Did you see the Monday Night game last week against the Patriots? Wow! If the Saints play like that every game, there is no one that can challenge them. As of now, they have to be the front-runners to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. This week they get a non-Patriot-like Redskins team. Will they suffer a letdown? The Redskins have been playing a little better but they will definitely have their hands full this week.

Tampa Bay vs. Carolina (Carolina -6.5). Both of these teams have struggled a bit this year. However, the Panthers are still farther along than the Bucs. Tampa Bay has been playing better lately but they still can’t seem to translate it into wins yet. If the Panthers can stop turning the ball over like they did last week, this one should be a win for them.

St. Louis vs. Chicago (Chicago -9). This is a matchup between two bad teams. Jay Cutler has mastered the art of the interception this year and pretty much stops their momentum whenever they get going. The Rams can’t keep any of their guys on the field except Stephen Jackson and he is playing hurt. Expect a lot of inept football to be played in this one.

San Diego vs. Cleveland (San Diego -13). San Diego is on a hot streak and has won six in a row. The Browns are arguably the worst team in football. Look for the Chargers to put up a big number this week. You do the math.

San Francisco vs. Seattle (no line). This should obviously be another close one. The Niners are probably the better overall team at this point, but they have underachieved so far this year. Expect a back and forth game that goes down to the wire in this one.

Dallas vs. New York Giants (Dallas -2.5). Dallas is the favorite in this one but it is always a good game when these two rivals get together. The Cowboys are leading the division and the Giants are trying to get back in the playoff picture. Expect fireworks to ensue.

New England vs. Miami (New England -6). The Patriots are coming off of a beat down of epic proportions last week. They were put in their place and their dynasty looks like it might be coming to a close. They can still beat the Dolphins but it will be close.

Arizona vs. Minnesota (Minnesota -4.5). The Vikings have only lost one time this season and are on a roll. The Cardinals really need Kurt Warner to play if they are going to have a shot at this one. Kurt Warner will be a game time decision but you can expect him to play.

Baltimore vs. Green Bay (Green Bay -3). The Packers are a pretty balanced team with one glaring weakness at the offensive line. The Ravens are also very good all around and this one should be a classic Monday Night matchup.

New York Jets Vs Buffalo Bills NFL Picks

Published: December 3, 2009

commentNo Comments

This Thursday night on the NFL Network the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills will square off to start Week 13 of the NFL season. Both of these teams have underachieved a little bit to this point in the season, but it should be a good contest between them. As far as Free NFL Picks go the New York Jets come in as the favorites in this one, but the Bills have been playing a bit better lately. What should we expect on Thursday night football?

The big story for Buffalo is the emergence of T.O. again. He has really turned it on the last two weeks, highlighted by a 98 yard touchdown catch two weeks ago. His play has been one of the big reasons that Buffalo is playing better. Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t done too badly either lately. Their run defense, on the other hand, has been downright bad. They will have their hands full against a strong running back in Thomas Jones.

The Jets, on the other hand, were the darlings of the NFL early in the season. They were undefeated for a few weeks and went up against the also undefeated New Orleans Saints. The Saints put them in their place in that one, and both of their seasons have went in opposite directions since then.

The Saints are now blowing out the Patriots, and the Jets are struggling to get by mediocre teams. The defense is still pretty good, but the offense has been a little up-and-down lately. Their star cornerback Darrelle Revis had a great game last week with two interceptions.

Expect this one to be a good AFC East division matchup. It will most likely go down to the wire, and expect the running game for the Jets to be the difference. If they can keep Thomas Jones going they should win the game.

Patriots Vs Saints Monday Night Football Picks

Published: November 30, 2009

commentNo Comments

This week on Monday Night Football, we will be treated to what could be the game of the season. The mighty New England Patriots will square off with the undefeated New Orleans Saints.

If you aren’t excited for this one, you might want to check your pulse.

The game will feature two of the very best quarterbacks in the league with Drew Brees and Tom Brady. One quarterback came within one pass of breaking Dan Marino’s yardage record last year and the other has multiple Super Bowls under his belt.

As far as Free NFL Picks go, this one should be very entertaining to say the least.

The Patriots come into this game with somewhat of a turbulent season. They are still doing great at 7-3 and they definitely have the capability to beat New Orleans.

However, two weeks ago, they lost to the other undefeated team in Indianapolis and many second-guessed their decision in the final minutes to go for it on fourth down.

The offense has been good overall, but the defense has been a little questionable at times. Belichick obviously didn’t have enough faith in them to put the game in their hands against Peyton Manning, so why would anyone think they could consistently stop the juggernaut that is Drew Brees and the Saints offense?

The Saints have been rolling along and got two good games from one-win teams the last two weeks. Even though they have had a few close games, they always seem to find a way to win.

They have so many weapons to choose from with Brees, Reggie Bush, Pierre Thomas, Mike Bell, Marques Colston, Robert Meachem, Devery Henderson, and Jeremy Shockey. Besides that, their defense has been one of the best in the league so far this season.

Right now, they really look like the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. This game should really be a classic battle between two great teams.

Week 11 NFL Picks

Published: November 19, 2009

commentNo Comments

We’re getting into the push for the playoffs in the NFL this week, and it couldn’t be more exciting. We’ve seen a lot of teams emerge as real contenders in the last few weeks. With so much excitement, it’s easy to get distracted and let your emotions get the best of you while betting on the games. As far as free NFL picks go, knowing what to expect can help you make good decisions with your money. Here are a few things that you should expect from each game in Week 11.

Miami vs. Carolina (Carolina -3)

The Panthers are finally starting to get things together. Their “All-World” receiver, Steve Smith, finally got involved in the offense last weekend with two touchdowns. The defense and the running game are still pretty good, so if they can consistently find Smith in the passing game, they’ll be tough. The Dolphins will again deploy the Wildcat on the ground and it should continue to work. This week, Ronnie Brown may be limited or out of the game, so Ricky Williams will get the bulk of the carries. Expect a low-scoring affair in this one.

Cleveland vs. Detroit (Detroit -3.5)

This could be one of the worst games of the season. Anytime you put two teams together that are as bad as these two are, you never know what you are going to get. When Detroit is the favorite against anyone, you know just how bad the game is. Expect a lot of ineptitude on offense and defense for these two teams.

Buffalo vs. Jacksonville (Jacksonville -8.5)

The Buffalo run defense is not exactly good. When you put Maurice Jones-Drew against them, you could be asking for trouble. I think MJD runs wild in this one, much to the delight of his fantasy owners, whom he somewhat disappointed last week when he knelt at the one-yard line. Buffalo fired their head coach this week, so who knows how they will play. They might rally around the interim head coach, or they might continue to be terrible.

Pittsburgh vs. Kansas City (Pittsburgh -10)

The Steelers are coming off of a tough loss within the division, to the Bengals. The Chiefs are coming off a rare win against Oakland last week. As if the odds weren’t stacked against the Chiefs enough this week, they just lost No. 1 receiver Dwayne Bowe to a four-game suspension for taking a diuretic. An angry Steelers team coming into Arrowhead to play a Dwayne Bowe-less Chiefs is not a recipe for success for Kansas City.

Indianapolis vs. Baltimore (Indianapolis -1)

The Colts are coming off an unbelievable win against the Patriots last Sunday night. They are still undefeated and this game represents one of their stiffest tests left on the schedule. If they get through this game, they have a great shot at going undefeated on the year. Peyton Manning looks unstoppable, but he has yet to play against a defense as good as the Ravens yet. This one should be fun.

Atlanta vs. New York Giants (New York -6.5)

This was supposed to be a great year for the Falcons. They currently sit at 5-4 and the sledding doesn’t get any easier from here. This week, they face the Giants, who have had some problems of their own recently. This one will be a battle of two “Golden Boy” quarterbacks, with Eli Manning and Matt Ryan. Which one plays better will go a long way towards determining the outcome of the game.

San Francisco vs. Green Bay (Green Bay -6.5)

The Niners are coming off of a dramatic victory last week against the Bears. The outcome was in doubt right up until the final play, when they picked off Cutler for the fifth time. This week, they will face a team that just dismantled the Cowboys last week. This should be a classic NFC battle.

Seattle vs. Minnesota (Minnesota -11)

The Vikings have only lost one game this year and they are big favorites against the Seahawks. Favre is coming off of yet another 300-yard performance last week and he should be able to pass against Seattle. The Seahawks have played a little better recently, but still struggle at times. Unless the Seahawks play great, look for the Vikings to keep on rolling.

Washington vs. Dallas (Dallas -11)

The Redskins actually managed to beat a good team last week, when they knocked off the Broncos. Can they repeat the same performance two weeks in a row? That’s what they are hoping when they go to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. The Cowboys are coming off of an embarrassing loss to the Packers and hope to rebound.

New Orleans vs. Tampa Bay (New Orleans -11)

The Saints are still undefeated and playing a team that has only one win on the year. On paper, this looks like a major blowout in the works. However, the Bucs have played much better recently, after making Josh Freeman the starter. He led them to a tough win against Green Bay and nearly beat the Dolphins last week. This one might be closer than you think.

Arizona vs. St. Louis (Arizona -9)

The Rams put up a great fight last week against the undefeated Saints. If someone could have come down with a Hail Mary pass at the end, they would have knocked them off. No one expected the game to be so close and you never know what a team is capable of. This week, they get the high-flying Cardinals passing game to defend. Last week, they finally got Anquan Boldin going a little bit. If they can keep him involved, this is a very tough team to defend.

New York Jets vs. New England (New England -10.5)

My, how things have changed since their first meeting of the season. If you are looking for Winning NFL Picks , the Jets knocked off the Pats and many thought the Jets were Super Bowl contenders. Since then, the Jets have struggled and the Pats have gotten better. Now the Pats are 10.5 point favorites to a team they lost to earlier in the year.

Cincinnati vs. Oakland (Cincinnati -9.5)

The Bengals just came off of a huge win against the Steelers last week. This week, they get the hapless Raiders to take care of. The Raiders finally might be getting a clue after benching JaMarcus Russell in in their last game. However, Bruce Gradkowski came in and promptly threw two picks in the fourth quarter and they lost to the Chiefs. While it looks like a mismatch, you never know which Raiders team will show up. They did somehow manage to beat Philly earlier in the year.

Tennessee vs. Houston (Houston -4.5)

This should be a shootout. Anytime the Titans and Texans get together, you know it’s going to be a fun game. The Texans have one of the best offenses in the league and they are fresh off of a bye. The Titans have been on a roll since they put Vince Young in the lineup. Expect an entertaining game on Monday Night Football .
