Writers and fans alike rack their brains in the pre-seasn, assessing their team's draft picks and off-season moves, wondering if certain issues or situations will cripple their team or put them over the top. The truth is, regardless of how much planning or thought goes into guessing the top teams, we're almost always wrong. That's why the sports gods invented late-season write-ups, so we can dissect teams and re-think their value or potential. Without stating the absolute obvious teams like the fallen Pittsburgh Steelers or the no-longer Wild Card threatening Houston Texans, here's a look at the five teams still in the playoff chase that simply aren't as good as we think they are.
