Today, I will look at the Chicago Bears' weakest position going into the 2009-2010 season—wide receiver.
First, lets see what they currently have on their roster.
Besides Devin Hester and Rashied Davis, the Bears have no receivers who have ever caught a pass in the NFL.
Last years third round pick Earl Bennett had great chemistry with new Bears QB Jay Cutler, but failed to learn the playbook, thus never getting in the starting lineup.
The other receiver is Brandon Rideau, who has spent the last three seasons on the Bears practice squad.
The tight ends are solid with former first round pick Greg Olsen and veteran Desmond Clark.
But they definitely need some help at the wide receiver position.
