Kyle Orton’s Three Interceptions In Preseason Debut Make Jay Cutler Look Good

... I watched the Broncos play the 49ers in their first preseason game, all I could think about was the Jay Cutler trade. I was truly curious to see how Kyle Orton would do with his new weapons in Denver.

It is inevitable that people will compare Kyle Orton and Jay Cutler, despite the fact that the trade was more about the draft picks Chicago sent to Denver than about acquiring Orton. 

The comparison, not really fair from the start, made Jay Cutler look better and better with each pick Orton tossed on Friday night. Orton looked brutal and it made me glad he was a Bronco. It's the best of both worlds for Bears fans, addition by subtraction (Orton), and addition by addition (Cutler).

Orton was moving the Broncos down the field and had Denver in the red zone when he tossed his first pick. Nate Clements made a nice play on a Kyle Orton ball thrown into the end zone for the interception.
