New England Patriots’ LB Need About to be Filled with Pisa Tinoisamoa?

... title="Boston Globe">Boston Globe article it was reported that the St. Louis Rams have released LB Pisa Tinoisamoa and the Patriots may be taking interest. The 6-year veteran was the team's leading tackler last season racking up 104 total tackles with 88 of them solo.

The move by the Rams is a little surprising, but it was suggested that Tinoisamoa did not fit into his newly projected role of SAM LB for the St. Louis defense. Mike Reiss of the Globe also notes that he may even be undersized for what the Patriots would generally look for at the MLB position.

With all that said he's probably the best option out there if the Patriots are geuninely looking to add depth to a MLB position that saw one member (3rd round selection Tyrone McKenzie) put on IR already.
